Two shows ... both sold out

From The New York Post

FRIDAY: The prog rock revival isn't in full force yet, but be patient. In the meantime, Procol Harum, which had a worldwide hit in 1967 with "A Whiter Shade of Pale," performs at the Bottom Line (15 W. Fourth St.; [212] 228-6300) Friday and Sunday.

The group, which includes original members Gary Brooker and Matthew Fisher, have a fine new album too, "The Well's on Fire," their first since 1991.

From the New York Times's "weekend news": Procol Harum, the Bottom Line, 15 West Fourth Street, Greenwich Village, (212) 228-6300; Inter-Media Art Center, 370 New York Avenue, Huntington, N.Y. (631) 549-2787.

Procol Harum is remembered for A Whiter Shade of Pale, but it had plenty of worthy other
organ-centered [sic] anthems (like A Salty Dog), and within its English pomp there was often a dollop of the blues. At the Bottom Line tonight at 7:30 and 10:30 and Sunday night at 7:30; admission is $30. At Inter-Media Art Center tomorrow night at 9; admission is $35
