Procol Harum to play Paris in 2003?

So it was Saturday night after the concert, when Gary and the band came to say hello to the Palers (aren’t we the luckiest fans in the world?).

So here I am with my DVD in hand to have it signed: well that’s a good excuse to get closer to the Maestro and speak to him, isn’t it ?

So here I go: I managed not to interrupt the conversation Gary is already having … and my patience is rewarded by Gary remembering my name (youpi youpi ya!) …

"No, no, I’m not living in Crete anymore, I’m in Paris … by the way, what about a Procol concert in Paris?".

And the answer: "NOT impossible".

I momentarily freeze and then, recovering, hand him the DVD jacket and ask him to put in writing that he promises to go to Paris …

Gary looks hardly surprised and – behold! – takes a pen and writes We will be in Paris in 2003! Promise! N.B.T. (Nothing but The Truth)…

What do you say of that ?

Myself, I feel a bit speechless… That would be the grandest thing to have Procol in Paris and a Palers’ Party in Paris as well. I vote for that!
