May 25: Tonight Procol Harum play the Fairfield Halls, Croydon, in two weeks' time Silkeborg, Denmark,in three weeks' time they play Katowice, Poland, and in four weeks' time Bramhall, UK

May 24: Tonight's Procol Harum gig at the Opera House, Newcastle-upon-Tyne is cancelled, and in three weeks' time Procol will play Zoetermeer in the Netherlands

Today's Procol Harum concert in Newcastle has been cancelled by the venue. This does not in any way affect subsequent Procol concerts in the forthcoming tour. Please read a statement from Procol's Promoter, and the band themselves.

RIP James Dewar. BtP is very sorry to have to report the death, after long illness, of the fine singer and bassist who graced Robin Trower's classic early albums, and who recorded his own classic with Matthew Fisher.

You may have noticed the temporary disappearance of BtP's review of the superb Procol Harum DVD Live in Copenhagen. The review page is now back in commission, and the Procol Harum DVD is once again available for online ordering from the BtP shop at an excellent price!
