Soundcheck (19.00): Fires (Which Burnt Brightly)

We don't know exactly what was played at Procol Harum's famous Rainbow gig – Mick Grabham's début with the band – but ear-witness memory suggests it was extremely similar to this programme: certainly the last three items are the same.

12 songs altogether: 3 from Procol Harum 2 (5) from Shine on Brightly
2 from  A Salty Dog 1 from  Home 1 from  Broken Barricades
x from  Grand Hotel 3 non-album tracks Rare: Keith Reid on stage; very rare: BJ plays a mandolin on A Souvenir of London. And on every chair you could find a flyer with the lyrics from In Held 'Twas In I in German! (thanks, Peter)
