Ticket stub evidence suggests that this concert took place at Hofheinz Pavilion: or is that the same place as 'The Summit'? 'No, it is not,' responds John Ferrari, 'Hofheinz is located on the University of Houston campus and the Summit is a few miles from downtown Houston; I was shocked to see Procol having played the Summit as it was a large arena seating about 17,000 and more typically hosting Van Halen and Led Zeppelin and their huge followings; Hofheinz is not small, though, seating about 8500. The Summit is now a church ... believe it or not ... only in Houston can this happen.' |
