Procol Harum : The Prodigal Stranger

Reviewed on p66 of Billboard, 7 September 1991

Procol Harum : The Prodigal Stranger
PRODUCERS: Matt Noble with Gary Brooker, Keith Reid & Matthew Fisher
Zoo 72445

English pop group skips the light fandango again after 14 years out of the spotlight; vocalist Brooker, keyboardist Fisher, lyricist Reid, and guitarist Robin Trower are reunited in PH Mach [sic] II. Lyrics are less opaque than in Whiter Shade of Pale days, and straightforward playing and production should help chances at album rock. The Truth Won't Fade Away, One More Time, and A Dream In Every Home sound like best radio starters.

** New releases predicted to hit the top half of the chart in the format listed.
*** New releases, regardless of potential chart action, which the reviewer highly recommends because of their musical merit.
