Greetings, 2130 subscribers to Fresh Fruit, the Procol Harum newsletter
As you will have seen by checking the daily update page at 'Beyond the
Pale', we're not expecting any further live work from Procol Harum for the
rest of this year, nor from Gary Brooker's other outfit, No Stiletto Shoes.
Rest assured that this newsletter will alert you to musical plans for 2006,
as soon as we know them.
Meanwhile, enjoy the band live on the DVD+CD re-release of 'Live at Union
Chapel' (click the link); and don't forget that Robin Trower is on tour in
November. We are also intrigued by the plans for a reunion, in Southend, of
people who frequented the Shades coffee-bar where Brooker, Trower, Wilson
and Copping made their name as The Paramounts in the 1960s.
If you're quick you can bid to own an extremely rare limited-edition CD of A
Whiter Shade of Pale, signed by Gary Brooker and Keith Reid: click to see
the eBay auction (thanks, Rob)
'Beyond the Pale' is about to be eight years old, and there's been a fresh
item added to the site every day since we started. Surely no other music
website can rival this prolific record, and we thank all our kind
contributors worldwide.
To help keep up this service, please search your archives and send us
photos, clippings, articles, ticket-stubs, and of course your own opinions
about Procol and related music. Don't reply to this newsletter's address,
but do contact us at webmaster at procolharum.com
With best wishes,
Jens + Roland
