Reading the March 2001 edition of the BBC's monthly History Magazine in bed last night, to my surprise, I happened upon this!

The article is entitled Bringing History to Life and says: Last year, we invited readers to nominate their ideas for aspects of little known local history worthy of record. The response was fascinating. The winner was the Reading British School, Berkshire; the enclosed came second.
