The former 'Shine On' merchandise page is superseded by The BtP Store – visit it!
The Procol community owes a debt of real gratitude to John Grayson (from 'Shine On') and his team (esp. Christine and daughters) for running the band's merchandise for so long, both at gigs and by mail-order from his home in London. Over the years he has sold the bread-and-butter tee-shirts and also been responsible for 'breaking' great new items such as the live PH CD, One More Time, and the re-issue of Broken Barricades, both on Gary Brooker's own Gazza label.
With very few exceptions John found that transactions went smoothly and that Harum fans the world over were civilised and amenable, as would be expected! Just once in a while he had to call on extra reserves of patience and diplomacy dealing with customers who really couldn't accept that Sterling was a genuine currency, or who didn't understand that he was doing all the despatching for the love of it, after hours, rather than running a full-time store!
You can visit this page to see the items that were formerly in the 'Shine On' catalogue; many of them are still available, along with some new products, at the BtP shop, where you can order day or night in Sterling, Euro, or US dollars, and pay using the PayPal service (which no longer requires you to have a PayPal account yourself, if you prefer to settle it with your credit card).
