Instead of his habitual verbal Christmas message to 'Beyond the Pale', Gary has asked us to make available to fans a song – A World of Love (words and music by Brooker) – that he recently recorded (singing and playing all the instruments) with The Drifters. It 's a soulful, melodic slowie with classic Brooker chords, spot-on for this time of year; we understand that the mix was completed on 21 December.
