Mike Lee writes: 'Just a little snippet I remember from listening to Piccadilly Radio in Manchester late one night while Gary was publicising the No More Fear of Flying album, which illustrates his typical obliqueness. After a long interview the presenter concluded with the following question: "So what are your plans now?" GB replied, "Well I think I'll go downstairs to the bar for a pint." Says it all!'
