'I was surprised to see BJ Wilson noted in the enclosed photo in the 1/11 issue of Sound+Vision (formerly Stereo Review),' writes Marvin Chassman. 'The photo accompanied a review of the Classic Album DVD of Tom Petty's Damn the Torpedoes (the review itself doesn't mention BJ)'' (see also here). BJ's participation in Petty's band is briefly mentioned here (thanks, Bill Mounce, who adds, 'maybe BJ was recorded during his trial period with Petty'). |
