Before Procol Harum play The London Palladium

Eating with fellow-fans on Monday 8 October 2018

Procol Harum, with orchestra and chorus, play the Edmonton album, and other material too, at the London Palladium on Tuesday 9 October 2018.

Fans from all over the world will be looking for places to gather and mingle before and after the show. Because it's happening in Soho's theatre-land, however, restaurants and pubs don't take group bookings before shows ... they're always completely full, and don't need to bother! Details will follow shortly regarding places to have a pre- or post-show drink together on 9 October.

Meanwhile 'Beyond the Pale' invites fans (many of whom have flown to the UK specially for a few days in London) to gather the evening before the show – perhaps to raise a glass to absent friends and percussionists, and incidentally to celebrate BtP's 21st birthday.

We've booked a room for this purpose at Bella Italia, 25 Argyll Street London W1 7TU (click here for map). The food is good and reasonably priced (scans below)

It's about three minutes' walk from The London Palladium, so a good opportunity to get acquainted with this fascinating area – Carnaby Street, Oxford Street, and so on – before the show the following evening. The nearest tube station is Oxford Circus.

If you'd like to eat/drink, with fellow-fans from different countries, at 7.30 on Monday 8 October, please send an e-mail, reserving your place (s), to webmaster@procolharum.com (at the restaurant we'll also have signed and dedicated copies of The Crowd Called out for More, available from the author. These won't be for sale inside the Palladium)

The restaurant seats 82 maximum. Please include the names of all members

Click below to read September's menu and prices ... it will be similar, but not identical, in October. Click the thumbnails to read details in full.

As our map showeth, the gathering and the gig are a couple of minutes' walk apart, on opposite sides of the road; and the Tube station
is on the corner of an adjoining block. The distances involved are minimal!
