Stefano Ciccioriccio, BtP's prime Italian correspondent, writes: 'I've been in touch with the executive producer and artistic director (acting on behalf of the Province of Bergamo who is organising the event). His name is Gigi Bresciani (Geomusic). These are the news received: the concert will take place at Bergamo on 24 July, 21.00h, at the courtyard of the Palace of the Province of Bergamo Via Torquato Tasso 8. The concert will be a “free entrance” event (up to the available space). Some 500 seated places and some more standing. No booking allowed (in principle) but when I mentioned that there will be people coming from abroad or from other far Italian cities (like me) he was so kind to give the possibility to book on-line (no more than 100 seats in total) at the following e-mail address  info@geomusic.it . People who reserve a seat in this way should go to the Palace between 6 and 7 pm on the day of the show to get the voucher for a seat.

Procol Harum will be the only band for the evening and hopefully they will be able to play their usual “long set-list” (especially after their US tour where they were often obliged to perform a “short set-list”). Concerning how to reach Bergamo please note that the town has a good airport (often advertised as Milan Orio al Serio) served by many low cost airlines.'
