Procol Haarlem, Netherlands

Setlist • Sunday 18 November 2007

Brooker, Dunn, Pegg, Phillips, Whitehorn

If you were able to get to this gig, please send us all your pictures, memorabilia, interviews and so forth!

The VIP Room
Shine on Brightly
An Old English Dream
Pandora's Box (the Spanish ending; and as Josh completes final run to last note, Gary yells "Ya finished?", Josh says "Yep," and everyone responds positively as last note completes the song)
Magdalene (My Regal Zonophone) (full Hammond in last portion rocking the room)
Memorial Drive
(You Can't) Turn Back the Page
Homburg (many people don't know this, but this song is about people – particularly Jewish people –who were not accepted in Antwerp; massive response for this song).
Conquistador

Interval

Something Magic
One-Eye on the Future
A Rum Tale (Just beautiful!)
Grand Hotel (Gary does the Victor Borge hand-off-the-keyboard, and bad breaks in Viennese stylings, then full power through guitar bridge - a very awesome build-up)
Missing Persons (for the people missing in Bangladesh and their families; very well received by audience; Geoff's second guitar about as good as any solo can get, imho)
Luskus Delph (Slower and more passionate with beautiful strings from the Motif)
Fresh Fruit (Harder-edged with a stronger guitar solo)
Robert's Box
A Salty Dog (for all our friends at peace who are listening. Dunn fires the gun again as he has done consistently. Standing ovation immediately with massive applause and chatter)

Encore

The Miller's Tale 'Listen to this chord sequence': When a Man Loves a Woman one verse; No woman no Cry, chorus then verse chorus; then right into The Miller's Tale, no organ solo to start, nor Bach Air intro, just right to Skipped the light fandango (didn't hear the 'we'). Traditional after that. Standard ending, two-verse. Massive and sustained applause)

Without Gary Brooker
(Blues jam)
Strawberry Fields Forever (Geoff W and Josh)

With Gary Brooker
Hang on Rose
Learn to Fly
Kaleidoscope (testing the beginning)
(You Can't) Turn Back the Page
Something Magic
For Liquorice John (GB figuring out the ABBA mid-section transition)
