A fan's Procol tour diary: North America

2 May 2003 : Al 'One-Eye' Edelist

I left LAX around 1:15 PM today with no security problems or any other difficulties. It was great to board the plane in anticipation of journeying to Montréal.

As an Ice Hockey fan and a season seatholder for the Los Angeles Kings, I was equally enthralled with the prospect of coming to the mecca of that sport. Unfortunately, neither of our teams made the current playoffs.

After landing and checking into my hotel, I wandered out to Rue Sainte-Cathérine to look for The Spectrum. After about a 15-minute walk, my hopes were rewarded by a marquee with a brightly-lit May 3 Procol Harum. I took a quick look in the lobby and then left for some well-needed food.

Well, it's back to my hotel for a good night's sleep and the anticipation of a Saturday evening of "Something Magic"
